Point of Sale material gives manufacturers an opportunity to shout a little louder off shelf and in-store.

Whilst understandably retailers will dictate (and mostly dilute) what is permissible, if offered it is nevertheless an opportunity not to be missed.

Good POS will complement product packaging. If possible show the product in-situ as well as being directional to where the product is on the shelf, but most of all, good POS needs to tickle the sensibilities of the target audience that trigger an impulse purchase.
